LUMINEERS®
Dr. Ziv provides instant orthodontics with LUMINEERS® by Cerinate®. Made from patented Cerinate® porcelain, LUMINEERS® are one of the best-known brands of prepless veneers and are often used in smile makeovers. The patient's new smile is custom designed by Dr. Ziv to complement his or her facial features and skin tone. Since LUMINEERS® are the thickness of a contact lens, in most cases there is no need for tooth enamel to be removed in order to accommodate the veneer. Remarkably, they can also be placed over crown and bridgework, and the reversible placement process leaves the natural tooth structure intact.

Placement of LUMINEERS®
A LUMINEERS® smile designed by Dr. Ziv takes two office visits. During the first visit, Dr. Ziv makes a mold of the teeth and sends it to the Cerinate® Smile Design Studio, where a technician custom-crafts the veneers. As natural tooth structure does not have to be removed, patients do not need anesthesia or temporary veneers as they would with the traditional method. When the LUMINEERS® are ready – typically in about one week – the patient returns to our office for his or her new smile. Before placing the veneers, Dr. Ziv etches the surfaces of the teeth to allow for proper adhesion of the veneers. He then bonds the LUMINEERS® to the teeth and sets them with a curing light.

Enamelette™
Dr. Ziv is pleased to provide Enamelette™ veneers. Enamelette™ veneers were created by Opus One Laboratories, Inc., a well-known producer of beautiful tooth restorations used in many well-known smiles and featured on TLC's hit television program 10 Years Younger. Enamelette™ veneers are made of highly durable, custom-mixed feldspathic porcelain and are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth. Placement of Enamelette™ veneers usually requires minimal preparation of the tooth.

Glamsmile® Veneers
Glamsmile® veneers are an excellent low-cost option for instant orthodontics, the cost of a whole arch being roughly equivalent to three or four traditional veneers. They are also a quick smile makeover treatment. The ultra-thin Glamsmile® veneers are custom-made of hybrid composite porcelain. Glamsmile® veneers can be bonded to teeth or existing crowns and bridgework. Smile makeovers with Glamsmile® require two office visits; the placement process is similar to that of LUMINEERS®, but the final visit takes just one hour.
